Over the past two years I‘ve submitted and resubmitted this novel to over 200 agents and publishers. In that time not one of them ever said to me, "The writing is inferior," or, "It is not up to our standards." The usual response was, "We don’t handle this type of project." Then one day I received a response. "This is very interesting project but it is thematically challenged."

Thematically challenged? That was a new one on me and I thought, what does that mean exactly? When I asked, the answer came back quickly, "Your novel bites the hand it expects to feed it, with it’s anti-government, anti-corporation theme, and who do you think these people in the major publishing houses are?"

So what does freedom of the press really mean when the corporations become gatekeepers of our published thought? The Jerome Corsi’s of the world can have unadulterated garbage published with the full court press of media. But a simple book that asks a simple question of who does this country really belong to, that postulates the simple belief that the working people of this country are a lot smarter than they are given credit for, cannot even be considered for publication?

This book answers those questions with two themes: there aren’t any nobodies, and that God is still out there, no matter how hard organized religion tries to hide Him from you!
